The red bean would have been nicer if it were paste form but I guess the slight crunch would have been lost if it were in that form. The ladies loved your cake. Thanks for the experience!

I ordered 2 Strawberry Mousse cakes to celebrate my daughter's birthday (1 at home with family and 1 with her classmates). My family loved the cake after dinner as it was light, refreshing and very delicious. Not too sweet and very appetising.

This cake is highly recommended for all ages. It's healthy because it is light, not too sweet. It's fragrant and gives you many flavours with each bite. The mousse is sweet and slightly sour like yoghurt taste. The biscuit-base is buttery and crunchy. The sponge is smooth and slightly creamy; supplying volume and strawberry freshness.
We all enjoyed it tremendously. Will be ordering more soon.

Oh yes.. the top cover of the cake is a strawberry agar agar layer with strawberry pieces which could be thicker. It gives the cake a slight chewy feeling (only very slight).

I am Rosie and I ordered the strawberry mousse cake for my cell meeting yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWe all loved the strawberry fragrance and the mousse wasn't too sweet. Just nice for elderly folks like us. The cake was very refreshing when it was very cold and it was light, gentle and uplifting. Very enjoyable and so pretty to look at and such a joy to taste. The ladies will be calling you once more. :)

It could be due to the hot weather yesterday, the cake was wet on the top when it arrived.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't affect the taste but because it's a mousse cake, we wonder if it means we need to keep the cake refridgerated until just before eating. How long will the cake last out of the fridge ?
Hello, thank you for your enquiry. Yes, our mousse cakes are best served chilled and preferably not be out of the fridge longer than 1st hour. :)

ReplyDeleteBoth were flavoured just right; the banana coconut was a big favorite with everyone as the banana was succulent and juicy and coconut texture fragrant and fulfilling.
The apple pie filling was beautifully tasty and the pie crust a joy to eat. It was buttery with enough puffy crisp that one slice was not enough.
Thank you for the highly recommended good pies. You should widen your range of pies to include meat pies. :)
